  4.     I find advice columnist Ann Landers interesting and amusing
  5. (INTERVIEW, Aug. 21). But who can have confidence in someone who
  6. doesn't know how to hang toilet paper correctly? The end should not
  7. be in the back, along the wall; it should come down over the front
  8. so it is always accessible.

  13.     Landers may have the last word on toilet paper, but millions
  14. of concerned people, including her twin sister Abby, are hard at
  15. work making sure she does not have the final say on the treatment
  16. of animals. "Dear Abby" has quoted George Bernard Shaw on animal
  17. experimentation: "Vivisection is a social evil because if it
  18. advances human knowledge, it does so at the expense of human
  19. character."
